Family owned and operated, Caldermeade Farm is a 450-acre working dairy farm at the gateway to Gippsland, built on generations of farming passion from the Gommans Family dating back to the 1400s.
Home to 500+ Jersey cows, our Caldermeade property produces rich, creamy Jersey milk daily, while our Gippsland goat farm provides the fresh goat milk behind our premium goat dairy range.
Visit our farm café, meet our animals, enjoy tractor rides, watch daily milking, and experience the journey of real Australian dairy farming from paddock to plate.
Located just a short drive from Melbourne and on the way to Phillip Island, Caldermeade Farm is the perfect countryside escape for families and travellers.
ANIMAL NURSERY – Free Entry
Get up close with your favourite farm friends in our Animal Nursery, open daily during café opening hours with free entry for everyone.
Meet our much-loved Highland cows Bonnie & Dougal, cuddle our baby Jersey calves, and feed our cheeky goats — just watch out for the ducks trying to steal their treats!
You’ll also find alpacas, chickens, geese, deer and more waiting to say hello. A fun and memorable farm experience for visitors of all ages.
The Garden & Playground –

Relax and enjoy the countryside in our spacious garden overlooking the beautiful farm lake. Fully fenced away from traffic, it’s a safe open space where kids can run, play and explore freely.

Daily MILKING-Free entry
See the milking of our Jersey cows live from the upstairs viewing room every day from 2:30pm.
Our herd of over 500 jersey cows provides the beautifully creamy milk used in our various milk products. Hailing from the channel island of the same name, Jersey cows are known for their rich, creamy and distinctive yellowish milk. We milk our beautiful cows twice a day.
Farm discovery ride
All aboard! Enjoy a 45–60 minute guided tractor tour around the farm. Great for curious minds of all ages!
